Biography

"Eminent Scholar" - Is a member of the Blood Tribe. He has been on the Nechi Board of Governors since 1986. Mr. Blood in on faculty at Red Crow College located in Stand Off, Alberta. He teaches and researches in Kainai Studies, a Blackfoot specific discipline. Mr. Blood is currently finishing a project with the National Film Board of Canada on respected Elder Chief Standing Alone's life. Narcisse believes that native people are very resilient despite efforts to assimilate some have resisted and maintain their respective identities and this is a legacy of our ability as Indigenous peoples to thrive.
