Rita Arcand

Biography
Rita V. Arcand is from Alexander First Nations and is of Cree ancestry, speaks and understands her language fluently. Her role at Nechi is the Therapist of the Our Spirit Survived Project, and is also a part-time Trainer of IASC, CAT, and ACT programs. Rita achieved her Bachelor of Social Work Degree through the University of Calgary and is a Registered Social Worker with liability coverage. Rita also acquired a Social Work Certificate from Grant MacEwan College, and is a Certified Addictions Counsellor (CAC11) through the Canadian Council of Professional Certification. Rita is registered with CACCF and is seeking further certification through the International Level Certification. Rita also has extensive learning in Life Skills and other related topics.
