Biography
Originally from the Poundmaker Cree Nation in Sask. Oldest of four children. Second generation residential school survivor. Trained as a Social Worker, over 30 years in the work force working with children, youth and families from frontline, training to management positions. Other areas of expertise include Counseling/Facilitation, Train the Trainer, Certified Life Skills Coach, Sports Coach, and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist to name a few. Drug and Alcohol free for the past 18 years. Her passion is to continue on her journey to personal growth and to educate and help others create their own life paths. She believes there needs to be a link to tradition and culture to understand that path. Her future plans include a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work.
